Doctor in Economics. Specialized in health and medicine economics. Associate professor at the Andalusian School of Public Health. He regularly collaborates as a consultant for the Gaspar Casal Foundation in conducting studies related to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and drug pricing policies.
Emeritus Professor at the University of Barcelona. Former Senior Health Economist, World Bank. He has been president of the Spanish Health Economics Association, a member of the ISPOR board of directors, and senior editor of Cost-Effectiveness and Resource Allocation magazine.
