Dr. Vitor Ido is Programme Officer at the Health, Intellectual Property, and Biodiversity Program of the South Centre. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of São Paulo and is a trained jurist and anthropologist. His research focuses on critical approaches to IP, in particular how indigenous peoples, new technologies, and non-Western countries pose challenges and transform the global IP system.
