Joji has been an advocate over the past 35 years on indigenous peoples human rights and traditional knowledge at community, national and international levels. She is an educator and writer on the issues of biological, cultural and knowledge diversity; international standards on water and energy, large dams and alternatives, forestry, extractive industries and accountability of international financial institutions and business corporations. Current focus of work is on community-based monitoring and information systems.
