Space to discuss alternatives and mechanisms that allow increasing the production of cows for COVID 19 globally. The discussion table members represent different sectors such as the WHO, the civil society, and the production sector.

In this pandemic state, it is necessary to create new production centers and adjust national plans and policies to guarantee access to the vacancies, as well as the effectiveness and security of the same, even against the variants that have appeared in recent months. For this reason, pharmaceutical companies must share technology and knowledge with other qualified producers. The countries in the region must assume a firm position vis-à-vis the industry.

The opening of production nodes supported by the WHO in South Africa is an example to be followed in other regions, such as the case of Latin America. It is essential to note that the intellectual property rights of vaccines and inputs used are released in the area.

In the treatment of COVID 19, it is also that multinationals share the formulations openly, achieve an effective transfer of technology and support public initiatives for the manufacture of vaccines in other areas of the global world such as Latin America; all of the above with total transparency of production costs. The States should work together with WHO, PAHO, WTO, WIPO, IACHR, and other cooperation organizations to create autonomous production centers in Latin America.
